San Francisco Mayor London Breed rate approval worse than ever

Approval falls as dissatisfaction grows

USPA NEWS - San Francisco Mayor London Breed's (DEMS-CA), approval rating has been declining as dissatisfaction with her management rises higher than ever. The mayor herself seems to be taking herself on the challenge as even her physical appearance seems to be very different from the beginning of her first mandate.

According to information released by the SF Gate.

“The new Probolsky Research poll, released Friday, found that 66% of voters disapprove of the mayor’s job performance, representing a jump of 9 percentage points from a similar poll that was released last month. That’s a statistically significant difference, even accounting for the poll’s 5.8% margin of error. The new poll also found that nearly 39% of respondents said that drug use and public safety was their top concern, with homelessness coming in second at about 28%.”

Those figures are striking, considering the timing of the poll. A total of 300 likely voters in San Francisco were surveyed between June 16 and June 20, weeks after the mayor’s office announced a plan to address the city’s drug crisis by having police officers arrest those who appear high on drugs and then offer them treatment after they sober up.

The poll also found that, if an election were held today, Breed could be in danger of losing her seat to her most well-known challenger to enter the mayoral race thus far: District 11 Supervisor Ahsha Safaí. Of those surveyed, 29% said they would vote for Safaí, and 26% said they would vote for Breed. Another 45% said they were unsure whom they would vote for. The gap between the two candidates falls within the poll’s 5.8% margin of error, and there’s a high number of undecided voters, meaning the race could swing in either direction. Regardless, Probolsky said, the numbers should be a cause of concern for Breed.
The dissatisfactions grow from the board of supervisors to the mayors’ offices. Even after the Covid-19 pandemic, Bars in the city are obligated to stop selling alcohol after 2am. Following HIV pandemic rules, such movement does not stop people to use drugs, instead motivate them to do so. Also, we talking about 4 hours of revenue being lost, how many jobs could the city be gaining? The mismanagement is clear, unspeakable and unanswered. Lately the numbers have being showing they are not unspeakable and unanswered, but the question is, with statistics showing that 68% of the voters are unsatisfied with her job. Will the democrats even let her run for reelection? They probably will. ‘It is worth remembering, this time by The Guardian; On August 4th’ “Breed agreed to pay $8,292 for accepting a gift in 2019 from Mohammed Nuru, the former public works director whom federal officials charged with fraud. A few weeks after Nuru was charged by the FBI, Breed acknowledged in a statement that Nuru paid for repairs to her car in 2019”
According to CBS News.

The brother of San Francisco's mayor was resentenced to a shorter prison term Monday for his role in the 2000 death of his girlfriend as she drove a getaway car over the Golden Gate Bridge following a robbery.
